Re: PowerTeacher Pro - Creating student groups

We also would love to be able to create sub groups in power teacher pro, the old power school let us by simply clicking the + sign and adding our groups within each class period. You could also filter by the groups (A, B, C). Can this be added back to Power Teacher Pro?? We have three P.E. Teachers, and a Health teacher and we always grouped our classes within each class period.

I agree, it would be very helpful to have student groups. We need to differentiate assignments--in my case, I teach band/orchestra with grades 9-12 in one class and need to group certain assignments based on what instrument and grade level students are.

It is helpful to be able to now create groups in PTPro.  The way the feature currently functions I am not sure what the benefit is for being able to group students across sections, especially since it doesn't group students in the Scoresheet who are in different sections.  This would be extremely helpful in our district.  We have classes that have multiple sections that meet during the same period and teachers have to open each section independently any time they want to enter grades.  Being able to do it on one screen would be so helpful!  If anyone can explain the benefit right now of being able to create groups across sections it would be much appreciated!

Hi @StephanieM39

If you are looking to view multiple sections on a single scoresheet then it is currently not designed in PowerTeacherPro. However, it would be a great enhancement request!

You can log this as an Enhancement Request on PowerSchool Ideas Portal so that the product team can take a look at this. This article should walk you through how to raise an Enhancement Request.

Meanwhile, we also encourage our other community members to share their insights on this.
