Query to list students periods on report

I have a query that had worked at one time to list where a student was in their classes/periods *periods period_info;1(a);teacher_name but now it is not working. Anyone know how to fix this?

One of the possible reasons would be if the Active term is set incorrectly, so we recommend checking if the Active Term is set correctly by navigating to Start Page > School > Current Grade Display (under Grading).

Can you tell me if there is a way to query the teachers last name only or first last?

You can query the teachers last name and first last by directly searching for the teacher fields. You can refer to this document teachers-ver7-8-0.
