So before I came to this district, the previous admin rolled out the new Contact Management table without ever deprecating the legacy fields (guardianemail, mother, father, etc.) or updating any integrations. I have a mess to clean up. However, I would like to know whether anyone has gotten the Frontline Centris Contact sync successfully working with Contact Management. I am looking at the field mapping and I know I need to write DATs which Powerschool makes it clear they will NOT help us write, but we are a small district and it would help to have a template or something to start off of. Is anyone able to share whether this is working for them, and if so, some sort of starting field map with DATs I could begin with? I recently joined a PS Ask the Experts and there were a LOT of questions on this, so I know I can't be the only one. Some districts are small and don't have someone who can code this all from scratch. I am mostly confused about things like "Max-Pers". Some kids have 1 guardian, some have 3. Do I need to limit this, or can't I just include all? As a best practice, are you using only contacts who receive mail, only contacts with custody, only the first two contacts in the list...I feel like this can be all over the place for kids and I am not sure how this will work in an integration with these limits but we also don't want EVERY single contact importing to Frontline.
Lastly, how can this work well with integrations? Do we need to add dummy data to every empty field? Columns have to line up perfectly for exports.
