When I copy comments from Word into Power Teacher (Progress report) it does not accept the Smart Text <preferred teacher> <his/her> etc. I was told that I'd have to copy all my comments from Word into the comment bank in order for Smart Text to work. I often work off-line so this is not something that makes sense for me. This seems ridiculous considering I was able to do easily use Smart Text in Word and Power Teacher before the recent "upgrade"
We do not recommend copy and pasting from Word into the comment bank in order for Smart Text to work. However, you can try using notepad.
