Parent Notification Emails - Parents unable to navigate to the webpage links that they receive

I have a parent that has brought to my attention email notifications from Schoology to her email account that are less than useful. They inform her of assignments that are missing or late and provide a link. From the link she navigates to a Schoology login screen. When she enters her account information it takes her to a Private Access page. I'm wondering if the login page is for her child and not her. But then why would it be sending the link to her email. The email notification seems to make little sense. She has no idea what the assignment is or what class it's for, so she doesn't know what teacher to contact. I'm including images below and a copy of her email about the situation.

Any help or insight you can provide would be happily received. Thanks!
