We have an advisory and are wondering if there is a way to run a report for our class that shows the missing work each student has for all their classes(not just our own)? We can find this in Individual reports but it requires you to show all assignments for student's schedule which can be too cumbersome and lengthy. Is there such a streamlined report? If so, how do I access this?
Thanks!

Hi @breasmith,
The report for students who have missing assignments is yet to be built into PowerSchool SIS. While you can use of the plugin for Missing Assignment Report that has been shared within this thread, I would like to share similar enhancement requests from PowerSchool Ideas Portal here for everyone to see and upvote.
To learn more about the Ideas Portal, we recommend reviewing the article on PowerSchool Ideas Portal FAQs
Thank you for participating in the PowerSchool Community!
We will be happy to look into the possibility of a report being available to show the missing assignment for each student. To allow Community members to assist, would you please provide the name of the PowerSchool product in which you are attempting to locate a report to show the missing assignments for students?
Jamie,
Do you know if this is a feasible report? We are trying to resolve this before PT conferences.
Is this something our district admin can accomplish?
Thank you
I run a missing assignments report by going to Sustem Reports > sqlreport tab > Grading > missing assignments in PT Pro
This pulls all missing assignments in our high shcool level.
Thanks Lisa,
I'm wondering if this is a custom report your district made. We have sqlreport4 tab, but no grading. So we are stuck there. If it is something you can export and I can import for my district, that would be helpful!
Thanks!
Thank you for this information!
Thank you for your response @LisaJ3!
Teachers should be able to run a report to show missing assignments from students within the teachers' classes, however, there is not a report at this time for Admin to run to show the missing assignments for all students within a school or district.
I have submitted a feature request on your behalf to have the report built within PowerSchool SIS to allow Admin to run a report to show missing assignments from all students in a school or district.
Jaime,
That is not what I'm asking for. I would like for teachers to be able to run a report for their students that show missing assignments from their full schedule. I know the variations of this report that exist, but am looking for a streamlined report that shows students name and just missing assignments.
For example, my homeroom roster:
Student A . Missing Math assignment
Student B . No missing assignments
Student C . Missing English Activity
Missing Math week 1
Missing Math assignment
Student D . Missing Computers assignment
Etc.
Is this a posibility?
Thank you
Have you received a response on if this is possible? Our teachers are requesting the same thing.
hrobinson,
We have not! I'm super disapointed in the responses and customer service. I can't imagine that we are the only school who used this report regularly.
If you have any luck please pass that along and I will do the same.
Thank you!
I apologize that I misunderstood the question!
Teachers should be able to run a report to see all students that have not completed an assignment. The report will be organized by assignment and not by the student. I have submitted a feature request to enable the ability to allow teachers to choose to organize the Assignment Report by assignment or by the student.
I have provided a link below that will guide teachers through the process of generating an Assignment Report for missing assignments that is organized by assignment.
Jaime,
Thank you for your reply but again, I don't believe this is the report I'm looking for. This gives missing reports for my class. But I would like a report that shows all of their missing assignments for every class. If I am their study hall teacher I would like to see if they have assignments missing for any classes. I have found how to include entire student schedule, but the problem is that I can only run this report for one student at a time, unless I would like an 80 page report. As I mentioned before I'm looking for a streamlined report.
Again, your reply does not answer my question.
Thank you for the clarification!
This report is not currently built into PowerTeacher Pro. I have submitted the feature request to allow teachers to view all missing assignments associated with the teachers' students for all of the students' classes.
With the PowerTeacher Pro teacher access being limited to the view of the class assignments within each teacher's classes, I would recommend reaching out to a Designated Support Contact to work with the PowerSchool SIS Support Team to review the options PowerSchool can provide to assist building this report.
Thank you Jaimie
How do I get ahold of a designated support contact?
Is that a different thread within the community?
Thank you so much for reaching out to the PowerSchool Community!
Each district assigns Designated Support Contacts for PowerSchool. Their users are usually at a district level. I recommend reaching out to your School or District Administrator to request assistance connecting with a PowerSchool Designated Support Contact within your district.
Please feel free to reach out if you require further assistance!!
At my school, we have advisory courses, and I was looking for a way to print this EXACT report today. This would be extremely helpful! I look forward to hearing that this modification has been made.
This is how I run the report and send to our teachers weekly.
First select all students at grade level then if you go to reports>sqlReports>Grading>Missing Assignments in PT Pro and submit it will bring up current missing assignments if the teachers have them marked as missing.
This is what our report looks like. It is a plugin that our tech person added to our powerschool. I can find out what plug in it is if anyone is interested.

Has this been resolved yet? Our district had the 'cheaper' version of PS last year, and we could run this report. Not any more! We are pulling our hair out!!
I have submitted a feature request on your behalf to have the report built within PowerSchool SIS to allow Admin to run a report to show missing assignments from all students in a school or district.
Hi Jamie,
The principals in my district just asked me today if a report could be ran from the PowerSchool Admin side to show missing assignments for all students. I have showed them how to do it in PowerTeacher Gradebook, but they would like to do it from the admin side. I was seaching the web and cam across this post and I see that you were going to submit a request for this. Do you know, was that done? And if so, what is generally the turnaround time for something like that? Thank you.
