We have an advisory and are wondering if there is a way to run a report for our class that shows the missing work each student has for all their classes(not just our own)? We can find this in Individual reports but it requires you to show all assignments for student's schedule which can be too cumbersome and lengthy. Is there such a streamlined report? If so, how do I access this?
Thanks!

Hi @breasmith,
The report for students who have missing assignments is yet to be built into PowerSchool SIS. While you can use of the plugin for Missing Assignment Report that has been shared within this thread, I would like to share similar enhancement requests from PowerSchool Ideas Portal here for everyone to see and upvote.

Hi @jamiem7 and others,
Were we able to get a 'missing assignment report' in PS that can be run by the admin at the school level?
I too am looking for a report to run for students who have missing assignments. Has anything been discovered for this?

Has this been resolved yet? I moved schools and where I was before used FACTS and it was so easy for Administration to be able to run a report for missing assignments for each grade level or for the entire school. I see that in January PS was working on this. Has there been any progress?
Hi @jclarkph,
The ability to run a missing assignment report in Powerschool SIS is yet to be established. There are multiple enhancement requests on this in PowerSchool Ideas Portal. You can access them using these idea numbers.
However, there is a missing assignment report that you can run from PowerTeacher Pro. The output can be in PDF or Excel format. Here is a link on how to run this report: https://docs.powerschool.com/PTPH/latest/reports/missing-assignment-report
You can run it from the Admin side if you have read-only access to Teacher's gradebook. Once you launch the report it will show up under your report queue as an administrator under Start Page > System Administrator > Report Queues > Completed Reports.
The PDF format includes all the data you are looking for but the Excel format doesn't look like it shows Teacher Name. You could include this using the Top or bottom note option.
Another PowerSchool SIS client shared that they use a report for missing grades from a subscription-based website, PSCB. It is not a PowerSchool product but might be worth having your PowerSchool SIS Administrator check it out.
Good Morning, this was posted back in 2019, was it resolved? I would like this feature since i am not a Teacher but an Admin.
Hello @alaskamya,
Thank you for reaching out in the PowerSchool Community! The feature ideas are reviewed by the Engineering team and there are several factors that determine if the requests will be implemented. The report for students who have missing assignments has not been implemented.
If you haven't done so already, we recommend you provide an upvote for the exisiting feature ideas for the same feature listed below:
You can navigate to the Ideas Portal here and select "Search" on the top right hand corner of the portal and enter in the feature idea numbers listed above, and vote.
I see this was requested two years ago. Our district JUST moved to Power Teacher Pro (Aug. 2022), and we are having trouble finding this feature. As someone else said, I have an advisory class, so I'd like to be able to run a report of each student's missing work encompassing ALL their classes.
There is a plug-in available called Missing Assignment Pages in the PowerSource Exchange. Your admin can install it in a matter of minutes and it will add a Missing Assignments page to PowerTeacher Pro and/or the parent/student login and/or admin student screen. It will show a student's missing assignments in all classes and the page can be printed.
I just installed this plugin. This would work great if you are wanting to look up missing assingments for one student, but my administrators are wanting to run reports for a group of students or even a whole school that shows all missing assignments. Not just one student at a time.
@tsauser Designated Support Contacts in each district should be able to reach out to the plug-in developer within the PowerSchool API Developer site. I have provided the link to the API Developer site and the steps to connect with the plug-in developer below.
If you are not a Designated Support Contact, I recommend reaching out to your district's Designated Support Contact to assist with this process.

What is the name of the plugin that allows teachers to see all of a student's missing assignments?
Can you please send me the link to the plugin for missing assignment report.
I'm sorry. To my knowledge this still has not been addressed.
It has been resolved twolley just sent it to me. You have to download this plugin and then the magic takes place
Wow, thanks so much!
But only someone at the admin level can plug this in, correct? As a teacher, I can't use this.
Hi @KENDRAM1,
Thank you for posting your question. Yes, that is correct. You would want to reach out to the PowerSchool SIS Administrators in your school district who should be able to do this for you.
