Mass Importing Assets Option

In the Insider Vide, Episode 103 April 30, 2021 there was an Asset Tracking Demo that was very helpful however one of the features shown was an Inventory Mass Assign under Functions that I have not been able to see in my functions dropdown.  We were on 20.1.0 at the time I watched the video and now on 20.1.3 and I still do not see it.  Can someone tell me what I'm missing and how to get the option to show?

Thank you for posting in the Community.

The function 'Inventory Mass Assign' was introduced in PowerSchool SIS 21.4.0.0, so in order to use it, you will have to be on version 21.4.x or later. Once you are on any of these versions and you still do not see it under your Group functions then I recommend reaching out to your PowerSchool SIS Admins.

What about Mass Check in. I am trying to import the checkin date and it says the student already has this device. It should just update the check in date. I can't do all these devices by hand

Please refer to the steps mentioned in this document for mass check-in devices. You would just need to check the box when you search for "Show currently owned assets".

Actually, I was able to finally import. The issue is you have to import every field not just the ids and the checkin. The instructions are vague and need to be updated. I might write them up and get them onto this site
