Increasing the number of grade levels in a school

Hi all,

We are looking to extend our PowerSchool usage to our middle school (currently only high school). Are there any complications to just increasing the number of grade levels in a specific school? Or would we have to create an entirely new school in the system and transfer all of the data over? Anyone have experience with this issue?

This would completely depend on a lot of factors. You can just add to the same school. But if the middle school has a different schedule (like 8 periods versus 4 or something else) then you would have a different school.
