High CPU

My server is experiencing high CPU while students are in session.  CPU spikes when users come in and goes back down at the end of the day when they leave.

Server info:

  • Windows 2012 R2
  • VMware ESXi, 6.7.0, 11675023
  • Compatibility: VM version 10
  • 32GB RAM   6GB in use
  • 16 vCPU x 2.1 GHz  100% in use during the day.

Veeam Agent for Windows 3.0.2.1170

Veeam Installer Service 9.5.0.1536

 

Something to note:  When clicking on server statistics, the Data tab never loads.

What should I be looking for?  

 

Should I be upgrading to: 21.11.0.0  There was note of a fix for high CPU.

In reference to your question about updating to 21.11.0.0 , it's generally a good idea to update to the latest version to enhance security and performance of your system. However, it's important to know what your infrastructure looks like before updating.
