Daily Bulletin

How would I be able to make it so that my daily bulletins pop up for the staff once they are logged into PS? Is this possible? Can it be made into a banner? TIA

I haven't done it, but you probably could add the Daily Bulletin to the teacher's home screen.  It would require some customization through Custom Page Management.

The Daily Bulletin code for the teachers page is located: /teachers/bulletin_popup.html

If you are comfortable with customizing pages, you could try adding a Div to the teacher's homepage and dropping in the code from the bulletin_popup.html page.

I need this, too!!  I created a daily bulletin and it shows on my start page, but not my teachers' pages. I made the audience "teachers" and they can see it if they click on daily bulletin, but I want it to show up when they log in and not when they click on daily bulletin. I don't know why it shows on my screen, but not theirs. I also went to district office and selected my school only.

I did get this to work for teachers and substitutes. I had issues with it at first (just copying over the bulletin pop up code and adding it to the end of the teacher and sub home page until I realized I needed to move the end of footer part of the teacher and sub code (at the bottom of the page) to the very end then it worked. So, in other words, I put the popup bulletin code before the footer code in both of those pages and it now displays when they log in as part of their home page.

Can you tell me exactly what you entered for the teacher and sub home pages to get this to work?  We are trying to get this to work for our school.  

For what you did, does the daily bulletin display in full when they log in? 

Right now we have the daily bulletin at the top of the teacher home page above their current classes where they take attendance, but the bulletin is collapsed.  We'd love to have it so that teachers were mostly forced to at least glance at it. 🙂

Hello there everyone!  Me...my school - and indeed my board - TDSB in Toronto, Ontario...are new to PowerSchool  SIS / PowerTeacher Pro...I have a quick question!

I have done a few searches...but I still can't locate information on how we would set up the "Daily Bulletin" feature in PowerSchool SIS.  This looks awesome and it would help in school wide staff communication for sure!

All you need to do for basic Daily Bulletin setup is click the gear icon to the right of the Daily Bulletin area on the Admin Home page

OR go to Special Functions > Daily Bulletin Setup
