Canvas/Powerschool Sync ~ 'Do not count this assignment towards the final grade'

I have assignments marked in Canvas as 'Do not count this assignment towards the final grade', but when they sync to PowerSchool they are marked as 'Count in Traditional Final Grade'.

Should the Canvas setting, 'Do not count this assignment towards the final grade', be syncing to PowerSchool so the box 'Count in Traditional Final Grade' is not marked?
