TL;DR: Can a master schedule with different total periods copy over into a load-only scenario, or does changing the total number of periods require a new build?
We have an updated master schedule for the scheduling year than our prior year, but most of the data (courses, sections, teachers) remain the same. Are there any foreseeable issues with creating a load-only scenario with X number of periods, then copying over the prior master schedule with Y number of periods, and then updating those periods and all the course sections to align to the new X-period schedule? The system allows this (we have already done all this), but am wondering if there are or could be underlying database or other issues in doing so?
