Attendance Clock in Clock out Feature Error Contact System Admin

Hi all,

I'm running into a strange issue with the Attendance Clock In/Clock Out feature in PowerSchool. When I try to clock out a particular student for the day, I get an error message saying “An error has been encountered while attempting to save your data. Please contact your system administrator.”

The catch is - I am the system administrator.

I've double-checked all security group settings and confirmed that permissions for the Clock In/Clock Out feature are enabled. I even tried removing and re-adding those permissions, but the error persists.

What’s especially odd is that I can successfully use the feature for this student on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday - but not on Wednesday. To test further, I randomly selected 10 other students and attempted to clock them out for Wednesday, 11/12. All of them processed without issue.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? Is there a known workaround or setting I might be overlooking? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
