Yes. Go to add materials, select add an assignment. If the attachment is in Google, choose the icon from the top menu, it looks like a square with an arrow. Select from the bottom icon list if the attachment is a file saved on your computer. It is the first icon in the menu and looks like three pieces of paper. Remember to select the icon with the red, green, and blue circles to assign to a student individually. Type in the student's name, then follow through with the steps for saving the assignment.
