How do I add a Cover Letter?


The Cover Letter section of the My Information box allows candidates to save a default cover letter as a template that can be customized for individual applications. Candidates then have the opportunity to customize this letter to address directly the employer and the position of the specific application. A cover letter is required with every application.


The system currently does not allow personalized cover letters to be uploaded because all attachments are available to every employer.




A cover letter is an important part of your application. It is the first impression that you give to a prospective employer and it can make or break your chances of getting the job. So, how do you write a cover letter with no experience?


One way to hire a cover letter writer


The best way to go about this is to use your skills and accomplishments to show that you are qualified for the position. This means highlighting what you can bring to the table and not focusing on what you don't have. For example, if you are applying for a marketing position, then it would be important to mention any relevant marketing courses that you have taken or any marketing related projects that you have worked on in the past.

I am a retired principal from the county I am applying to substitute teach.  Why do I need a cover letter, transcripts, and references?

If the application is requesting this information, you will want to reach out to the HR department of the school to request why they are requiring this.  The schools creating the application.
