I don't seem to have the Notification and Task Setup under District Management, but I have the ability to go in and create Notifications themselves under System Management. I'm the PowerSchool administrator for my District with full access. Why would that piece not be there for me?

Is it just me or the video quality is just bad?

I set up a notification for historical grade changes that seems to be working. However, I cannot pull the name of the person making the change. I do not see this option from the dropdown options and I cannot see exactly what was typed in due to the video being blurry.

Is there a way to get this video so that we could share it with PS users that may want to create tasks and notifications?

Good video! It looks like we can only set up Notifications at the District? Not all of my users have access to District so they cannot create their own Notifications?! If I create these Notifications for them, what happens if I retire and my PS account is terminated? Do they lose access to the notifications I set up for them?

@JulieB8 When setting up the new notification in district office it is just tied to district office and not tied to the person's account who created them. They will still be there and active after you retire. You can test this by creating a notification and then having somebody else in the district office check and edit the notification that you just created. Hop that helps!

Hope PowerSchool adds more tables to the "Data change" Event type for notifications.
