2 Kids in 2 Different Districts on Same Mobile App?

Until this year I had two sons in the same school district on the same Powerschool App. One son just moved to a different district for a specialized school, is there a way to link to his new Powerschool on my mobile app? They are now on separate Powerschool web pages.

Hi @mattkabel

We recommend logging out and then logging to a new district.

To switch between students in the same district tap the white arrow to the right of the child’s name. Tapping that will bring up a drop-down box where you can then select the desired child you wish to review. For parents with children at multiple school districts, accessing accounts will involve logging off and switching districts. In order to switch between districts, you will need to
1. Log off from the current session
2. Change the district code to the other district
3. Enter your username and password for the other districtIf the District Code is the same you should generally be able to obtain a single-sign-on username and password.

If you need additional assistance, please contact your district administrators.

Wow, so I have to log in and out constantly all year to see both my kids info? That's going to be so annoying! You really need to enhance your app.

Have you all still not fixed this issue in your app? Do I really have to log in and out each time I want to view my students in different districts for the next 2 years that they won’t be in the same school??????? It really can’t be that difficult in an age where we have vehicles that can drive themselves for goodness sake.

Hello,

All districts have their own separate PowerSchool server. They are unique to a specific district. Unfortunately, because of this there is not a way to link districts together.

I don’t need to link them together. I just need to be able to select each one without logging out and in every time.

Because they cannot be linked together that is why there isn't a way to select each one without logging out.

As I said before, with all the technology available today, I’m sure there is a way to make it easier for parents, but if it doesn’t save the company money, why would they waste the resources.
