PowerSchool Enrollment School Recommendations (SchoolRecs) - Overview

Summary

School districts may use PowerSchool Enrollment SchoolRecs to facilitate the recommendation process for applications. If the school district to which you’re applying for your child requires you to forward recommendations via PowerSchool Enrollment SchoolRecs, you can do so by clicking the link to submit a recommendation on the submission confirmation page of your submitted form.

Once you submit your recommendation request to your chosen recommender, they will receive an email to accept the request and complete the recommendation form. They will then submit their recommendation to the school or organization. 

  • If you have already submitted the Application form, you may navigate back to the same link used to submit the form and should be able to see the submitted application along with next steps.
  • If your school or organization has sent you a direct email to submit recommendations, follow the instructions in this email.
    • If asked to login, use the existing account that was created/used to submit the student's application.
      Note: Ensure you are using the same account so that the recommendation can be linked back to the student's application.
    • Identify the recommendation form to submit to your recommender.
    • Click Next and Complete the Recommendation Request Form.
    • Fill in the required details for the recommender such as First Name, Last Name, and Email Address. Optionally, you may include a message to the recommender.
    • Submit the form
  • The recommender will receive the request via email and will be invited to complete the recommendation on PowerSchool Enrollment SchoolRecs.
    • The Recommender will accept the request and fill out the recommendation form after logging into PowerSchool Enrollment SchoolRecs.
    • The recommendation form will then be submitted directly to the school or organization for which you are applying.

 

Important: Be sure to contact your recommender and tell them to be expecting an invitation email from the following email address: noreply@schoolrecs.com. Let them know to look for this email, and open it so they can respond to your invitation. If they do not receive the email for any reason, have them contact us
