We allow teachers to retroactively submit or correct prior days' attendance records. We also have the setting enabled that requires a completed attendance screen before the submission can be accepted. If a teacher forgets to submit a class's attendance and goes in the following day to correct it, the system will not allow the correction until the attendance for that day's period is sent first. For example, A teacher wants to submit their 4th period attendance from a prior date, because they forgot. In order to do that, they have to enter today's 4th period attendance first. So they proactively fill out the 4th period, even though they are in the 1st period, so they can send the corrected prior attendance. Now when today's 4th period comes around, they need to remember to retake actual attendance and sometimes they forget. Is there a way to allow, fixes to prior days' attendance records without having to put in "fake" attendance for the current day?
