Divorced parents have to share an account

So our middle school child uses PowerSchool and apparently my ex husband and I have to share an account for our child. He said “he needs my password to my account because he can’t see our son’s grades because I have him on my account”. I also have my other children on the account and do not want him to be able to access that information. I’d like to know if this is a thing or he just has no idea what he’s talking about.

He can and SHOULD setup his own Parent Account, most of our parents have their own account.

Yes, he should set up his own Parent account. He will need the access codes for each of his children though. You will need to give him that information. I have this document I send out to caregivers in the situation you describe. Hope this helps.
