Administrators and parents registers log ins in different sides

What is the purpose of the administrators and parents log ins are registered on different sides( parent/administrators) if we share the same information?

Thank you for posting on the PowerSchool Community! 

If a user is logged in as a parent, the user should only be able to access data for their students.  District employees may have access to multiple students in a class, school, or district depending on the employee's role in the district.  

Are you looking to compare an employee's account in a product against the parent portal view or are you suggesting that an employee who is also a parent of a student in the district require only one login?
