Not recording assignments as being graded

I'm trying to grade, and when I click on a student who has a (1 new) after their name and grade the assignment and give feedback, when it refreshes the main page still shows the (1 new) and no grade or feedback. If I click on the student again, I can see their grade and feedback. This is an extremely annoying glitch, and there seem to be more and more glitches as of late.....

I understand your concern, if multiple students are submitting work at the same time then it could be showing a new notification. Would you please confirm that you are not seeing a notification for a new student that submitted work?
