I didn't see any such help forums on the schoology site like we have on this site.
I have a couple questions about grade passback.
Schoology has a Community Help Forum that you can access here.
You can also ask your question in this forum and we will reach out to the appropriate teams to provide you with the support you need.
Please let us know if you have any more questions. We will be more than happy to assist you!
In the migration from Learning to Schoology, I am told Active classes will copy over, with their assessments and assignments also copy over?
Grade passback, I was instructed to link terms that copy over from sis to schoology in the grade setup. Is this necessary? These terms do not match my final grade setup for PT Pro, we have exam dates in it, but not in school years and terms. Will Final Grade Setup "trump" anything that comes down from Schoology? With learning, due date just matters, PT Pro and final grade setup does the rest.
And I hate that teachers have to create categories in both pt pro and schoology now, That doesn't make since. Double the work.
Thank you for your patience while we researched on your queries.
Active classes will copy over with the materials you have in your Learning but we will still want to verify what material type you are referring to. If you are migrating from PowerSchool Learning to Schoology, that process is handled by a migration team and is different than if you were to move the data over yourself. We recommend checking on this with the migration team if there are any limitations to what content is moved over depending on your unique setup. I recommend reviewing this article for more information.
Schoology will not look at Final Grade Setup in PowerSchool SIS and in order for the Grade Passback to work correctly, it must be set up as instructed in this article.
