I am currently teaching for Michigan Online School, located in Gobles, Michigan. My Ph.D. is interdisciplinary in Autism, Reading, Communication, and Education from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. My children are grown, both Airmen, amazing young men, one with an amazing wife, and they have our lovely granddaughter. I have been married to my best friend for almost 29 years. My current areas of research and study are the mechanisms of memory in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ASD. Additionally, I am concerned with expanding communication- especially in light of current events, how to understand what individuals who are not neurotypical know and understand about race, the unrest, and how to be safe in expressing themselves.
