Unified Classroom Images Work Submission - HEIF Apple File Format - VIewing in UC

Does anyone have any experience or luck in viewing HEIF files (without downloading them to your computer) in the Unified Classroom?  JPG, PNG, PDF, etc. works great. However, Apple for the last couple of years is storing images as HEIF.

I would like to view the image and give a grade all within the UC.Screen Shot 2020-08-13 at 2.44.35 PM.png

Hi @DanM3

Thank you for reaching out for assistance through PowerSchool Community!

Unfortunately, there is not a way to view files without downloading them on your computer.  We recommend using JPG, PNG, or PDF.

This is old, and not technically solved.

I had the same issue last week with a teacher and their students. I found this guide helped and allowed me (and the teacher) to view the files. Once they're installed, the browser, MS Paint, and any other apps should be able to open the files.
