During a training session for teachers on the assignment workflow using Google in the Unified Classroom, a teacher asked why the student submitted files are not saved to the teacher's Saint Mary's College High High School 2020-2021 folder? (The one that is created by the Unified Classroom when using a Google handout.) It seems like the only files stored here in a very structured format: School - Class - Assignment are those that were created using the handout functionality. If a student just uploads a Google Doc and submits it to the teacher, it is stored in the teacher's Google Drive with all of the other files that do not have a folder.
Has anyone run into this issue?
Hi @DanM3,
Thank you for posting in PowerSchool Community!
Currently, the Unified Classroom doesn't have a feature to designate a specific Google Drive folder for Unified Classroom assignments. The assignments just get placed into the Teachers Google Drive and not a specific folder. However, this is a great idea for the enhancement of the product. We recommend submitting an enhancement request on the same through PowerSchool Ideas Portal.
Unfortunately there is not place in the Ideas Portal to place it. There is Unified Classroom Assessment and Unified Classroom Learning and this belongs to neither of those two options.
Hi @DanM3,
Thank you for getting back to us.
We recommend creating submitting the enhancement request under Unified Classroom Learning for our product team to review this further.
