Why isn't there an easy way to generate a weekly (or whatever parents choose) email to parents indicating what work their student is missing. Google classroom and Canvas have this. Having to go individually through each child's missing work and then emailing parents takes way too long. This is crucial with the hybrid learning model when you can't remind students daily.
I can't answer they why there isn't the ability to send that type of email, but for those parents/students who have the PowerSchool iOS and Android app, there is the built in ability to see all upcoming assignments, recent assignments and grades, and status of missing/incomplete/late assignments. There are also some customizations that your PowerSchool Admin can install that will show missing assignments on the parent portal, PowerTeacher home page and the admin side.
