How to Add an Assignment for Selected Students in UC.
You can create an assignment that applies to only the students you select from a single class or multiple classes.
From the Create Assignment or Edit Assignment page, click Edit next to Class/Students.
Click the arrow next to a class to display students. Click the box next to a student to associate them with this assignment.
Repeat for each class and students you want associated to this assignment. A list of classes and the number of students you selected appears in the Class/Students section.
You can also select different due dates for each class. On the Create Assignment or Edit Assignment page, in the Scheduling section, click the edit button to assign due dates by class. Click Single Due Date to have the same due date used for all classes you associated with this assignment.
To score this assignment, click Go to Scoring on the bottom of the Edit Assignment page. The students you selected for this assignment appear. Hover the cursor over the icon next to the student name to view their class association. Enter the assignment scores.
You can also navigate to this view from the Assignments/Activities page by selecting All Classes from the Class Selector, then selecting the assignment.
