How to Use Homeroom Report Template

As part of Permission Click’s continued effort to better serve the needs of our customers, we are pleased to announce that our users are now able to access “Homeroom Report” as a template while creating Reports. Below are the detailed steps as to how users can access the “Homeroom Report” template:

1. Navigate to the form manager for the form who would like to create the Homeroom Report for. Navigate to the Reports and use the “New Report” option.

            Note: Homeroom Template can only be accessed when New Report request is initiated from the Form Manager.

2. New Report dialog box would open. Here the user would be able to input “Report Name”, an optional description for the report and under the Select Report Template dropdown, would be able to view “Homeroom Report” as an option.

3. After Homeroom Report is selected and submitted, the report would show up in the Reports tab (in the Form Manager). To generate the report users can interact with the Actions dropdown for the report and select “Generate”.

4. On generating the report, user would be presented with a new dialog box, prompting the user to provide the Homeroom Value.

5. Using the filter dropdown in the dialog box. User would be able to search and select the Homeroom.

6. After the selecting the Homeroom, user would have to select “Set” to finalize the selection. Please note that multiple Homeroom selections is not possible i.e. Users would only be able to select one Homeroom Value per Report generation.

7. After generating the report, the users would be able to see the status of the report. Once complete download button would appear.

Note: Although the steps document how to create a new report but Permission Click users, especially the District Users would be able to create a Homeroom Report and share it with other users i.e. teachers. Teachers when they generate the shared report, would be prompted to select the Homeroom Value (as mentioned In Step 4).
