Server Migration (Self-Hosted)


PowerSchool's Technical Solutions Group (TSG) is pleased to offer our services to migrate your PowerSchool instance to a new server or multiple servers.  This will allow you to take advantage of the latest hardware and improve your overall PowerSchool experience. 

Reviewing the information found within this page may help you determine if you would like to purchase the service from TSG and will guide you through the process should you decide to do so.

Migration of PowerSchool to a new server.

  1. Review the minimum system requirements for a PowerSchool server to ensure that your environment is supported.
  2. Review the Server Migration FAQ's.
  3. Send an email to to request a quote.
  4. Fill out the online Server Migration Request form.

Note: You must be registered as a technical contact to submit the online request.

Note: This service does not include the migration from PowerSchool 7.x / Oracle 11g or earlier.


Note: By submitting the PowerSchool Server Migration Request, the customer acknowledges that they have read and agree to the conditions within the PowerSchool Server Migration Statement of Work provided below.


Once your request has been processed, a Migration Specialist will be assigned to your account. They will contact you within 1 business day to introduce themselves and verify the assignment.    A separate email will be sent to you confirming the dates you requested for your service.
