I'm hoping someone can help. I'm not able to add my son to my parent account. When I go to Add student and enter his Access ID & Password, it gives me the error, "<name> has not been added to your account. Valid student information must be entered". I verified his information and confirmed that I can log into PowerSchool with his credentials.
Any help would be appreciated.
The Access ID and Access Password are not the same as the credentials your student uses to log into PowerSchool. You would need to reach out to your child's school and request that information.
Make sure you do everything right in order.
1. After signing in to the web portal, click Account Preferences on the left menu
2. Under Account Preferences, click on the Students tab
3. Now click on the Add + button and follow the necessary steps
If it still does not work out, I advise you to contact school support.
