Student can't log in to student a count in iOS app

My son cannot log in to his PowerSchool account. He puts in the log-in credentials, which all seem to be accepted, but then the app hangs on "Authenticating" and won't go any further. I am able to log in to my parent account fine. I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, but we're pretty new to PowerSchool and would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Check to see if he can log into the PowerSchool website for parents and students. That will let you know if it's only an app issue or something with his credentials.
