Hello
This is becoming huge issue with out Parents that have Andriods in our District. Should they delete the app then re install it?
Please advise
The lack of documentation for the mobile app is an issue for Android users in your District? If they delete the app and re-install it, it will be the newest version.
So when they add our district code the app wont work . So should they delete the app then re install the latest in their store?
That never hurts and is a good first step to take.
So, do you know if anyone is having the same issue with Andriod and Parent/Student app?
does it depend if parent has updated their phone?
were there certain updates to the app which affects andriods users that you are not aware of?
You haven't described the issues that users are experiencing, so I do not know how to answer your question. There is an issue with APPLE users currently, but nothing save the update for Android users.
As I mentioned
ALL andriod users (parents) that had or try to get into their Parent/Student app from CSDNB district have been getting denied login. Even when deleting then adding Parent/ Student app from Andriod store >putting our district code states that there is an issue with Parent/Student PS app.
Thank you for providing this information!
Parents should be using version 5.0 or higher on their Android devices. Android devices that are on a version before 5.0, may receive a message the app is not compatible due to features within the app that are compatible only with versions 5.0 and higher. The parents should also clear the cache within the device. I have added a link below that should guide parents through the process of clearing the cache within the browser.
