Hi all,
We need to stop sync between PS SIS and Learning for a stipulated time period. During this time whatever changes we do in SIS should not b updated in Learning. After the time period it should work as usual - all the changes should be in sync between the systems. How to implement this?
Thanks in advance.

Hi! @FebaJacob,
To stop the sync between PS SIS and Learning for a stipulated time period, I recommend setting the imports to Always Require Admin Approval and just not approve any during that time period. That way you can approve them when you are ready.
Hi @FebaJacob,
Thank you for reaching out for assistance through PowerSchool Community!
PowerSchool Learning Support can disable the PSL imports but it's recommended to set Import Settings to "Always Approve" this way no imports will process unless manually approved and you can enable imports when you feel is best.
Hi! @FebaJacob,
We are working with the product team to gather information on SIS integration with Learning and will update this thread as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience.

Thanks Muskan for getting back.
Currently we are using this same method to stop the sync between the systems but still the changes were updated in PS Learning even if we were not approving the imports from SIS. We found that it is because of live sync and disabled it.
We posted in community to know whether there is any other way to stop the sync. In nutshell, the sync can be stopped by not approving the imports as well as switching off the live sync. Please feel free to suggest any other way for the same, if any. We would also like to know more about live sync. After the stipulated time,we are planning to switch the import settings and also enable live sync also.
Thank you.
