Is there a method for bulk exporting courses from PowerSchool Learning?
I understand that a teacher can download a single course using the Manage Class > Import/Export > Export workflow documented here. This is not ideal.
I do not want to use the workflow documented above as it forces teachers to export every single class one by one. This could break their souls. I do not want to break any souls.
Is there some way to automate this process?
From PowerSchool:
Thank you for contacting PowerSchool. I hope you are doing well.
My name is Arifa and I have taken ownership of the case and I am happy to troubleshoot the issue for you.
I apologise but unfortunately, the export of classes is done on a per-class basis.
This would be an enhancement request. I would recommend you to add this request to our ideas portal.
I don't think this is entirely acceptable. Our teachers have invested literally thousands of hours building classes. Asking them to individually download each class one by one is not a great solution.
Come on PowerSchool, you can do better than this.
Hi @aciuffo
We will be reaching out to you through the case which you have with PowerSchool Support Team.
Update from the PowerSchool Support Team:
For PS Learning, customers export the content they created on their own using the export options available in the Product.
You could use the following links :
How do I export my class content in Common Cartrid... - PowerSchool Community
How do I export attendance for my entire school? - PowerSchool Community
How Do I Share My ePortfolio? - PowerSchool Communit
Please feel free to write to me for any further assistance.
So it looks like the best option is to manually export every. single. active. class. one. by. one.
Has anyone else found another solution for this? Our next best option is to hire a substitute teacher to download the classes one-by-one and then re-upload them to our other system.
