I received an error message when trying to upload a file to a Google Drive Block. Why can't I upload my file?
There are two reasons you might have trouble uploading a file to a Google Drive Block.
Below is some information on the supported file types and size limits for each type of document you may upload.
Supported File Types: Microsoft Word (.doc and .docx), OpenOffice, RTF, HTML, and Plain Text
Limitations: 1,024,000 characters, regardless of the number of pages or font size. No larger than 50MB.
Supported File Types: Microsoft Excel (.xls, .xlsx), Comma Separated (.csv), Plain Test (.txt) and Open Office (.ods)
Limitations: 400,000 cells, with a maximum of 256 columns per sheet. Not larger than 100MB.
Supported File Types: Microsoft Powerpoint (.ppt and .pps)
Limitations: No larger than 50MB.
Supported File Types: .wmf
Limitations: No known size limitations.
Supported File Types: .jpg, .gif, .png, .pdf
Files that are uploaded but not converted to Google Drive files can be up to 5 TB.
Each Google Drive user receives 15 GB of free storage, but if you'd like more you can pay for additional space.
