What can I do in PowerSchool Learning using the G Suite integration?

Q.  What kinds of things can I do with the G Suite integration in PowerSchool Learning?


A. There are a LOT of things that you can do with the G Suite integration. Students can submit work directly from their Google Drive, while Teachers can embed Docs, Sheets, Presentations, Maps, and just about anything else on their Google Drive directly into their Class Pages.


There are several ways that you can interact with items on your Google Drive like Google Drive BlocksFile BlocksDiscussionsDropboxesInbox Messagesand more!


Google Drive Blocks


Have your content display embedded on your Class Page with a Google Drive Block. The items will show up for your students right in the Block, so they don't have to navigate away from your class. Get started by selecting + Add Content Block > Google Drive



Then you can choose to create a New Google Drive Document or select an Existing Google Drive Document



We know you may have already created amazing work in Google, so we've made it so you can add those to your Classes as well! This time, instead of choosing to Create a new Google Drive Doc, choose Pick from Google Drive.  From right here you can grab anything already on your Google Drive to use or embed a map, video, or upload a file from your computer.  






Want your Google Calendar in your class?  No problem!  You can add any Google Calendar shared with you or embed a Google Calendar right on your Class Page.  


Embed the Web


Use an Embed the Web Content Block and simply search the word Google.  From this vantage point, you can create and embed Google Presentations, Forms, Docs, Sheets, Groups and Maps.
