Timed Assessment

Hello.

Is there a way to give an individual student extra time on a Powerschool assessment?

For example, the majority of the class is being given 30 minutes to complete an assessment, but a student with an IEP needs to be given an additional 15 minutes.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Hi @carolinegoodman,

To assign a student with extra time in Learning can be done by creating an assessment with password protected and giving access to that particular student. I have attached a Knowledge Base article which will help you create an assessment with password protection.

When it was Haiku, there was an option to allow individual students to just have extra time. This kept grade books from being over-complicated and saved work for teachers. Can this be restored? A checkbox on the assessment creation page or on the student info in the roster could allow it.

Hi @afarman,

Thank you for your post in PowerSchool Community!

To assist you further with your query, could you please confirm if you were referring to the extra credit feature within PowerSchool Learning? We have ways of re-opening an assessment so just one student can retake it and the article that has been shared above discuss them.
