Hi! @johnhylkema

Currently, there is not a way to mass delete assignments.  If an assignment is in a content block, it will be copied into the new class with Save Class As, even though that box is unchecked.  If you would like to have this feature within the product, we recommend sharing this idea directly with the product team in the PowerSchool Ideas Portal.

Can you copy assignments to a different term? A teacher accidentally put in assignments in Q1 and Q2 instead of S1.  Or will this have to be a manual process?

Barbara,

Are you using PowerTeacher Pro?   If yes, then the term aligns with the due date.  Assignments can be moved to different terms by changing the due date to lie within the target term.

Yes, we are using PTP.  S1 contains both Q1 and Q2, etc. Does it matter if the assignment is added under Q1, Q2, or S1?  The dates do coincide as far as Q1 and Q2 go.  Also, when this particular assignment is added it reflects 1000%.  Hope you can see the snip.

Barbara,

The due date of the assignment determines the terms to which it applies.

Hard to say why the one assignment shows as 1000.  The problem likely resides in the way in which the assignment was constructed.  Look at the assignment details in PTP; how many points is it worth, is their a weight given, are there extra credit points attached?  Next check the category of the assignment and the set up of that category.
