How to resize discussion window for small screens?

Our students have 11' MacBook Airs with a max resolution of 1366x768. When they open discussion windows, the pop-up discussion window is dominated by instructions and static content.

The actuall disucssion takes place in a very small portion of the screen and sometimes becomes unusable because the student cannot scroll down to the appropriate comment. See the attached gifs below.

Is there a way to hide the instructions (the less/more button appears to do very little) so the actual discussion is more visible?

One solution is to use the "zoom out" feature (cmd/ctrl -) before opening the discussion, but this makes the text very hard to read.

We have tried the following: right-click > open in new tab/window (does not work due to limitation in java script)

Is there another solution? Can the instructions be minimized to focus on the discussion?

This is an example of the issue - The instructions take up too much of the screen for students to engage well with the content. Sometimes the content falls off of the screen and they cannot click on it.

Thank you for your post in the Community!  A user should be able to click on the discussion the description for the discussion should be collapsed making the discussion thread a count for the majority of the pop-up.

Currently, the feature is not collapsing the discussion.  The PowerSchool Development Team is aware of the issue and currently working to resolve the issue quickly.
