Hand-in button not visible in non-rostered, manually created classes.

We currently have Unified Classroom and teachers that are using PS Learning assign assignments and students submit assignments via UC.  However, we also have built,  at the district level,  several non-rostered courses that we use for teacher PD.  Many of these classes have "assignments".  Recently, the "hand in" button is not visible on the "student" end of these assignments.  In addition, if you view the list of assignments, Screen Shot 2019-10-27 at 10.09.40 PM.png they all state that they are "offline".  We have a case open with PS but have not heard much back yet besides it has been escalated.

Has anybody else experienced this issue?

Hi @gylepat,

Thank you for reaching out to PowerSchool Community for assistance!

I would be happy to help you with the issue where the hand in button is not visible on the student end of these assignments. The problem might be with the Global hand-ins which might be blocked in the Learning domain.

I recommend you reach out to the PowerSchool Admin for Unified Classroom and admin should be able to enable the Global hand-ins. I have provided a few steps below which admin should be able to do it.

1) Go to Learning Domain
2) Organizations tab
3) Click Main Organization (this is the "i" icon next to your district name)
4) Edit features

Once the admin completes these actions, students should be able to see that assignment Hand-In option on Unified Classroom assignments.

I hope this was helpful.
