As Domain Admins if we need to run a report to see how many assignment activities were created overall across the domain how do we do it? We may need such a report to ensure teachers have not created test/fake assignments to test out the features. And they may need to be deleted before the grade push is switched ON.
I looked around on Domain Control and did not find anything obvious under Reports. Or do we need to write to PowerSchool Learning support?
Some help would be awesome.
There isn't this level of reporting in Learning. You may need to explore the Analytics module (I believe it's available for purchase). We want this kind of functionality, too, but right now, we are forced to do our own dumps and visualisations from PS/PTP and it doesn't capture the Learning bits.
We are also asking that the page-level analytics be brought back!
Hi Kim -
We actually had the "Analytics" working on Domain Control but has stopped working suddenly. For some reason I thought the "Analytics" for domain + class pages was free. Interesting. Have made an official ticket with PS Learning so lets see what comes out of it.
Thanks again for your insight. Most useful!
Yeah...sadly they have removed the class page analytics. We have asked for it back, so I support you asking too!
Hi K - When you report official requests do you write to email@example.com or do you have another way of doing it?
I use PowerSource for that, but I am not sure if they are going to move that capacity to this forum or not. My request for the page level analytics is here
You are more than welcome to upvote it!
Got it. Will definitely upvote it. If they can atleast provide a mast data pump we can figure out a way to sort it. Seems like an easy thing to do evne on the domain since its essentially their own data. Odd that isn't readily available though. Maybe because it has to pull from so many differnet tables? Assignments being connected to specific classes/master classes?
Thanks for the link, though.
Keep us updated. I was going to email about the Analytics tuened on. Seems odd to not be included. Never heard of an LMS without the feature being included
Will do. It was on for a good few weeks. It was some sort of a Java like component that took a while to load but when it loaded showed some data. But before we could test it further it vanished from the Domain Control. I wonder how ready that product is which is why they are holding it back.
I see that you have started a support request on this. I've reached out to my team and they will reach out to you through that request shortly.
