We are working on setting up ePortolios for student in our Domain. Is there a way for students to add artifacts and evidence directly to their ePortfolio from their work submitted in a class?
We are going to be moving to Unified Classroom in August and have already started to pilot test PS Learning. We are not yet as far as using e-portfolios but I found a few things which I thought might be of use to you. Please explore them in your live scenarios and let me know! I can use your experience with this to take our work forward too.
As Domain Admin you would need to enable e-portfolios across different domains. You can do this by going to Domain Control >> Applications >> Features >> e-Portfolios and then enable them as applicable. You can also go one step deeper into each sub-domain (elementary, middle, high school etc) and select who has access to e-portfolios. This I think will enable more options for students as they view their work or the course to take a copy of it for their own account.

Some helpful links below from the user experience. This is an older Haiku related documentation but thought you would find it useful too.
Please check if the enabling of the e-portfolio for everyone in the domain makes new options show up. Since we are still in the initial phases we have set the permissions to special people only. Once we go completely live we intend to switch it ON for everyone.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for your input and ideas. I have ePortfolios turned on for the whole domain, however students are still only able to add pages and content blocks from WikiProjects directly to their ePortfolio as far as I can see.
I was hoping they could add work they have submitted and received feedback from the teacher on directly to their ePortfolio from the Assignments screen. I'm wondering if being integrated with G Suite or Microsoft 365 would make this process a possibility. We currenlty don't have either set-up.
Though there is not an option to directly add a file or graded assignment to an ePortfolio, students can download those files by going to Assignments>View Work>Download. They can then add those files to a file block in their ePortfolio. This may not be quite what you were looking for, but it should work well to add those files.
As far as G Suite or Microsoft 365, it would be a similar process.
I hope this helps,

This is very good to know @Jaclynp. Thanks for clarifying that. Since we are in the process of setting up directions of usage in our community this sort of technical information will be very handy.
