How do I set an Assessment to use the best attempt?

How do I set my Assessment to use the best attempt?

Assessment settings will default to calculate and record the average of all attempts per student as the Final Score, but you can choose to use the Best Attempt instead.

To adjust the settings for an Assessment, just select Edit Settings from the Manage Assessmentdrop-down menu.

Next, add as many attempts as you'd like your student to have for the assessment by selecting a number from the "Allow students to take Exam" drop-down menu.  Once your assessment has more than one attempt allowed, you will have the option to check "Use student's best attempt as their Assessment Final Score."

Please note: When "Use student's best attempt as their Assessment Final Score"  is not checked, PowerSchool Learning will calculate the Final Score by averaging all attempts for a given student.
