Q - What will the VDOE 2020-21 solution provide that the PowerSchool solution will not?

A- The VDOE is in the early stages of forming the solution.  They have shared with PowerSchool that they are developing a solution for state accreditation monitoring.  The VDOE anticipates that the state solution will be complementary to the Performance Matters solution, not a replacement.

The Performance Matters Analytics solution provides many capabilities that produce data analysis, including:

  • Access assessment, attendance, and behavior data across multiple sources – all in a single place
  • Look at multiple dimensions across student, teacher, school, and district measurements
  • Create custom dashboards and share with all the stakeholders in your division
