Problem

The status of your recommendation requests will update as it moves through the stages of creation, submission, acceptance by the recommender, and then submission to the organization. You can verify the status of your recommendation requests by following the instructions below.

 

Step-By-Step Solution 

  1. Navigate to the Recommendation/Transcript Center in SchoolRecs.
  2. Your recommendation request will be in one of these statuses:
    1. Needs Your Attention- indicates that the request has not yet been submitted to the recommender
    2. Waiting for Response from Recommender- indicates that the request has not yet been accepted by the recommender
    3. Waiting for Recommender to Take Action on Form- indicates that the request has been accepted by the recommender, but has not yet been submitted
    4. Submitted Online by Recommender- indicates that the recommendation has been submitted
  3. If you are not able to locate your recommendation request in the Recommendation/Transcript Center, this may indicate that you have not created the appropriate recommendation request.
