Error when I enter "Date student will start at WPS"

I keep getting an error at the field: Date student will start at WPS

The form shows: 08/27/2020 - First day of school, or later

I input 08/27/2020 

I keep getting this error:

The 2020-2021 academic year begins 8/27/2020.  If the date you entered falls before that date, please close this page and access the correct form for the current (2020-2021) school year from the district website.

There clearly is a bug in the form, please advise.

I would suggest you contact the school district you're registering to and let them take it up the food chain to their support contact.  Form design for PS Enrollment is specific to every individual school or district, and there can be many schools with the acronym "WPS."
