I oversee several schools that use the PowerSchool program. I want to be able to see when the last time a teacher logged in to SIS so that I can deactivate accounts to teachers that are no longer working for the school, is there a way to run a report that shows me the last login date of a teacher?
Currently, there is not a report that will display the last login date of a teacher, however, PowerSchool admin should be able to export using the Logins table by navigating to the Start Page > System Administrator > Page and Data Management > Direct Database Export (DDE) > search the teachers table by last_name or teacher_number > take note of the ID for the user.
Once this is completed, admin should be able to export the records by selecting "Export records" and click "submit."
Thank you @JeffG9 ,
Is there a way to customize this report like to add the schoolID, or other fields, and then to export it to excel for further analysis?
The ability to customize the Report of Sign-In Attempts page is currently not available in PowerSchool SIS. However, you can check if other PowerSchool SIS users have shared their workarounds to customize this page on Exchange.
We also encourage the other Community members to share their insight if they have been able to find a solution to this. You can also add this as an Enhancement Request through the PowerSchool Ideas Portal where users can submit their ideas directly to the Product team. It also allows you to review the idea for status updates as well as share the idea with other users to support it by voting.
To learn more about the Ideas Portal, we recommend reviewing the article on PowerSchool Ideas Portal FAQs
If you are unable to find a resolution, you should be able to work with our Customizations or Keys-to-Ownership team who may be able to build these custom fields for you. Here is a thread that details more on how to work with them.
