Help - even after checking "Close at Max" for each section and in the Load, sections are going over the set capacity. Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Make sure you check the box when you go to load "Close sections at maximum" to enforce the policy located under each section.

Hi Dan,

The sections are being over-schedule and not closing at maximum even when the "close sections at maximum" box is checked. Any ideas why it is still over enrolling classes? Makes it very difficult to balance and requires a ton of hand-scheduling with this feature not working.

Are all the courses, sections and the Load all set to close sections at max?

Thank you @HeatherWeist! Some of the sections were not set to close sections at max. All courses were set and the load was set but not all of the course sections. This seems to have resolved the issue. I appreciate your response. I read through the PowerSchool guidebook and this portion was not clear and it didn't rollover from previous years.
